Plein Air Painting at Third House in Montauk with Barbara Thomas
Tuesdays, June 20, 27, July 11, 18:
9am-11:30pm
At the glorious Third House, at Montauk’s Suffolk County Park, students will set up outdoors to capture the fields and hills, trees and vistas, grasses and big open skies of this unique landscape. Students will learn the essentials of landscape painting; composition, color mixing, light and shadow, brush stroke, to paint earth and sky, distance, and all the nature elements.
Students bring own materials and will receive materials list upon registration.
Open to beginner and experienced.
