Third House Nature Center presents a free lecture demonstration by Barbara Thomas, longtime East End teaching artist and art history lecturer. We’ll look at some animalist and nature artists—John Jay Audubon, Rosa Bonheur, and others, to study the methods, techniques and science of fauna painting. Barbara will demonstrate using a taxidermy bird. Audience can have drawing materials to participate if wished!
