Join botanist Daniel Atha for an immersive workshop on creating museum-quality preserved plant specimens. Designed for students, researchers, artists, and anyone passionate about plants, this course covers the essential techniques for pressing, preserving, and mounting plants for a variety of uses.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll gain hands-on experience in selecting, arranging, and drying specimens, as well as best practices for labeling and long-term preservation. Whether you’re involved in taxonomy, ethnobotany, environmental surveys, or creative projects, this course provides valuable skills to document and preserve plant life for research, education, and artistic expression.
