Herpetologist Jake Kushner will present an overview of the East End's Reptile and Amphibian populations followed by a walk on the grounds of Third House pointing out and discussing the habits and habitats of our varied frogs, snakes, turtles, salamanders and toads.

Jake recently presented his findings on his Tiger Salamander Monitoring Study at the Long Island Natural History Conference and has led salamander walks for the South Fork Natural History Museum at several locations in Suffolk County, including a recently well attended nighttime hike through the wetlands of Culloden Point.

All ages are invited to both the lecture and the following exploratory walk to three of the small ponds that are set near Third House itself.

See you Saturday.
